Katherine is a Chinese-Canadian photographer and videojournalist at Global News, currently based in Toronto, Canada. With a background in International Relations, Development Studies, and Journalism, she is driven to share the most urgent stories of our time.
Previously, she was the Photography Project Manager for Climate Tracker, a Program Coordinator for Photographers without Borders, a Video Intern for AFP, and a Reporting Intern for Reuters (Hong Kong). Her work explores themes of social resistance, the climate crisis, and cultural identity. Most recently, her work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, US News, and China Dialogue.
